Sante'
Jeremy and Kate Hansen are assured success with their European inspired restaurant Sante', offering patrons an appetizing gourmet menu, espresso bar, and a Charcuterie. Jeremy Hansen, who works as the executive chef, draws inspiration from his culinary education at Le Cordon Bleu Western Culinary Institute and experience gained in France, Portland, and New York. These Spokane natives even support local farmers and businesses following their mantra to "eat globally, act locally".
Blending the elements of gourmet cuisine, espresso and specialty deli ( is an impressive feat when done as seamlessly as the Hansens have achieved. Sante' caters to both black tie and blue jeans. Simply loiter in your blue jeans enjoying your espresso, pondering politics or people watching, the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. When the lights go down for Friday and Saturday night, feel free to wear a coat and tie. You certainly wouldn’t feel overdressed. After all, you wouldn't want your dinner to look better than you do!
Their diverse menu offers homemade items that are not a rendition but a reinvention of a classic. French onion soup and the New York steak can be found anywhere in Spokane, but the best are found here. From ketchup and mustard, to the complex mastery of curing meat and hand making cheese, nearly everything served is a unique Hansen creation. Naturally a Charcuterie, which is similar to a deli, is available for patrons wanting to take their experience home. Carry out delicacies such as duck prosciutto, smoked bacon, and Gravalax (sea salt and dill cured salmon).
Reservations are always appreciated, but drop in anytime; coffee and charcuterie are available even if a table is not. A Votre Sante. To your health.
